As a young boy in 1960 i became fascinated with war relics that my father had brought back from WWII. My Father served in North Africa and Italy for most of the war. Many of the items he brought back to the u.s. have long since passed through my careless childish fingers, yet the fascination that each item brought to me lingers in my mind.  As a young man, I spent the third weekend of the month searching through the stalls of local flea markets to pick up treasure after treasure and talking with the men who had been overseas during the war as they handed over their victory trophies to me. here are just a few from my collection; past and present.
